The wait is over—FAIT 2025 officially kicked off on 4 August 2025, opening with the Primary School category. The tournament not only brought exciting football matches to the field but also highlighted how sports and technology can come together to inspire young minds in Perlis.

About FAIT 2025

Running from 4–14 August 2025, FAIT2025 is a STEM-through-sports initiative organized by CEASTech UniMAP in collaboration with Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), SK Seri Indera, and JHEP (AISU).

The program promotes hands-on STEM learning by combining football with technology. Each player wears AI-powered smart shinpads that track their performance in real time. Students also attend workshops on 3D design and AI development, gaining practical experience in embedded systems, data sensing, and performance analysis.

Programme Objectives
  • Enhance students’ understanding of AI and STEM through football and workshops.
  • Utilize AI for player performance predictions and game strategy simulations.
Smart Shinpad Features

Equipped with advanced sensors, the smart shinpads monitor:

  • Steps and total distance
  • Average & maximum speed
  • Maximum acceleration
  • Number of shots
  • Movement matrix

Day 1 Highlights – Primary School Matches

The first day brought thrilling matches and plenty of energy:
